Better late than never September 1, 2007

Okay, so this is late, but like the title of this post says. . . I’d like to get behind Rob’s idea. It has a lot of the elements we’re looking for, and it seems to combine some of our best ideas with what’s already out there. Additionally, I don’t feel like we should be too concerned with what will appeal to people at ONA because if our project is great then they’ll want it, regardless of it’s exceedingly cheap or easy to impliment. If our idea is strong enough then they’ll go the extra mile to impliment it. Talk to you all tomorrow!

This week I will be searching for information on our demographic (18-34) and how we should reach them. Also, I will be looking for some evidence that some of our initial ideas on how to reach our audience are on the right path.
Thanks,
Jenna

I’m going to spend some more time investigating hyper-local and cit journ sites, and I’m also going to look into existing attempts at creating long-term web-based stories (relevant to the story layers idear we were kicking around).
Brian’s Mission August 12, 2007
Posted by Brian in weekly goals.add a comment
Brian plans to play around at a couple of crowd-sourcing sites, namely Cambrian House and IdeaWicket; to do a bit more research about crowdsourcing itself; and see if countries with much better Interwebs have done all this already.
He may also choose to decrease the amount of third-person speaking. Stay tuned after the break to find out.
